There is a strict dress code in place at Black Cat.
The basic rule (which applies to everyone) is; IF YOU DO NOT COME DRESSED AS OUR DRESS CODE ADVISES, YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ENTRY. WE HAVE A STRICT RULE OF NO JEANS, TRAINERS, CAPS, OR OTHER "STREETWEAR". ALSO, FANCY-DRESS IS NOT PERMITTED FOR THE EVENT.
A burlesque night is a special and exclusive event and we believe it is fitting that everyone dresses in a suitable manner.
The dress code guidelines in place are as follows;
Girls; Goth, ballgown, corsetry, masquerade, victoriana, fetish, lingerie, pin-up, punk, glam, sexy!
note; girls who are dressed in shorts/skirts/dresses/trousers will be admitted if they have made an effort with hair/make up or accessories.
Guys; Punk, Rockabilly, Black tie, masquerade, topless with wings, teddy boy, goth, fetish.
note; guys who are dressed very smartly will be admitted.
Generally the more extravagent the outfit the better!!! Cross-dressing is completely acceptable as is lingerie, nipple tassles and anything else that is different/alternative!
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO OUR DRESSCODE RULE, WE VERY MUCH WANT EVERYONE TO BE PART OF THE NIGHT, THE DRESSCODE IS A BIG PART OF THE FUN!!!
